Beaumont Scout Reservation

Beaumont Scout Reservation is a full-service Scout Reservation with forests, fields, wetlands and lakes, sitting on 1,260 acres along the Grand River in Rock Creek, Ohio. It began operating as a Scout Camp in 1946 and has grown into a year-round facility with camping for Scouts and families. It features six separate camps:

  • Your Home for RV & Tent Camping!

    Looking for a comfortable place to park your camper or pitch your tent? Welcome to Beaumont Village!

    Beaumont Village is a separate camping area within Beaumont Scout Reservation, offering 18 campsites designed for guests who enjoy the outdoors with a few extra conveniences.

    Of the 18 available sites, 14 are designated RV and camper sites, each featuring water and electric hookups. The remaining four sites are dedicated to tent camping, providing a more traditional outdoor experience.

    Beaumont Village also features its own shower house for adult campers. Please note that the Beaumont Village shower house is exclusively available to guests 18 years of age and older.

  • Welcome to Camp Gray, your home for Cub Scout adventures!

    Camp Gray is a special area within Beaumont Scout Reservation designed with our youngest adventurers in mind! From outdoor exploration to exciting activities, Camp Gray offers the perfect setting for Cub Scout packs, families, and units to make lasting memories.

    The area features the Climbing Fort, Beaumont Farm (Beau-Ag), Sledding Hill, Shooting Ranges, Basketball Court, Garrison Pavilion, and Camp Gray Activity Center.

    NEW! Camp Gray Activity Center: Now Available for Overnight Rentals!

    We're excited to announce that the Camp Gray Activity Center is now a fully rentable, year-round heated cabin, accommodating up to 28 overnight guests!

    This spacious facility features a full kitchen, electric heat throughout the building, and two restroom facilities with year-round running water. Whether you're planning a weekend campout, unit retreat, or special Scouting gathering, the Camp Gray Activity Center offers the comfort of home while keeping you close to all the adventures Beaumont has to offer!

    The Garrison Pavilion features picnic table seating for up to 150 guests, electric lighting, and a fire ring on its south side, making it an excellent gathering place for meals, activities, and campfire programs.

    Camp Gray also features covered Archery and BB Gun Ranges, providing exciting shooting sports opportunities for Cub Scouts in accordance with Scouting America program guidelines.

  • Welcome to Camp McIntosh, where comfort meets adventure! Located within Beaumont Scout Reservation, Camp McIntosh features 12 spacious lodges, each accommodating up to 24 guests. Every lodge is equipped with a full kitchen, seasonal gas heat, and a traditional potbelly stove, making it a great destination for Scouting adventures throughout the year.

    The McIntosh Shower House is open year-round and features 11 private shower stalls for added comfort and convenience.

    Camp McIntosh is also home to the Beaumont swimming pool and McIntosh Activity Center, providing exciting opportunities for recreation, activities, and unforgettable Scouting experiences. We look forward to welcoming you to Camp McIntosh!

  • Welcome to the Augustus Complex! Located in the heart of Beaumont Scout Reservation, the Augustus Complex features 8 family cabins, the Harding Health Lodge, Augustus Training Center, and Dining Tent.

    The Augustus Training Center is home to the camp's main office and kitchen, serving as a central hub for camp operations and guest services.

    Nearby, the Harding Health Pavilion and Moritz Family Program Pavilion provide additional spaces for programs, activities, and gatherings throughout the year.

    The Augustus Complex offers convenient access to many of Beaumont's facilities and programs, making it a central part of the camp experience.

  • Welcome to Camp Broadbent, where adventure is around every corner! Located within Beaumont Scout Reservation, Camp Broadbent features 16 campsites, a wide variety of exciting program areas, and some of the most popular destinations at camp.

    Camp Broadbent is home to the new Broadbent Shower House, featuring 11 private shower stalls, as well as the BeauMart Trading Post, Climbing Tower, High and Low C.O.P.E. courses, and Dedinsky Sports Center. Scouts can also enjoy the Garrison Archery Range, Hill N'Dale Shotgun Range, Brandenburg Rifle Range, and Cowboy Action Ranges.

    Additional program facilities include the Neshkin Amphitheater, Ruskowski ScoutCraft Area, Guerra Art Center, Tinnerman Boat House, and Environmental Resource Center. Camp Broadbent is also home to beautiful Lake Klein, offering fishing and boating opportunities during summer camp.

    Camping Accommodations

    Camp Broadbent offers a variety of camping experiences to fit your unit's adventure!

    • Tulip Grove: A unique campsite designed for hammock camping.

    • Meadows and Sycamore: Each campsite features three Adirondack shelters, accommodating up to 18 campers.

    • White Oak, Rodgers Ridge, Wolff, Twin Ash, Valley View, Cookies Cove, Poplar, and Hemlock Grove: Each campsite features 14 platform tents during summer camp.

    At the heart of Camp Broadbent is an area our camp staff affectionately calls "Downtown Broadbent," a lively gathering place centered around the BeauMart Trading Post.

    Whether you're exploring the trails, taking on a new challenge, or enjoying time around the campfire, Camp Broadbent is ready to welcome you home!

  • Welcome to Camp McCahill, where the Beaumont story began! As the original camp at Beaumont Scout Reservation, Camp McCahill first welcomed Scouts for summer camp in 1946. Rich in history and Scouting tradition, this special part of Beaumont continues to provide unforgettable outdoor adventures for generations of Scouts.

    Camp McCahill features tent campsites and a private ranger residence. The area is home to Beau-Tech, the ATV Program, and McCahill Chapel, offering a variety of opportunities for adventure, learning, and reflection.

    Nestled along the beautiful Grand River, Camp McCahill also features Garrison Family Lake and Puddies Puddle, providing scenic surroundings and opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

    Camping Accommodations

    • Whispering Leaves: Features 14 platform tents during summer camp, along with a campsite pavilion equipped with electricity.

    • Long Needle: Features 14 platform tents during summer camp.

    • Riverside, Big Maple, Twisted Trees, Lone Hickory, and Emmett Dempsey: Each campsite features its own pavilion.

    • Osage, Trumbull, Deep Woods, and Fox's Run: Rustic field camping sites, perfect for units looking for a traditional tent camping experience.

    From its historic beginnings in 1946 to the adventures of today, Camp McCahill remains a special part of the Beaumont experience.

Whether this is your first visit or your tenth, we are excited to welcome you home to Beaumont Scout Reservation!

Located in Northeast Ohio, Beaumont Scout Reservation is one of Ohio’s premier Scouting America camping facilities and home to an incredible Scouts BSA Summer Camp experience. With more than 125 merit badges, activities, and specialty programs, there is something for every Scout, from their first year at camp to their final summer as a youth.

Adventure Is Growing in 2027

In 2027, Beaumont is taking adventure to the next level with the launch of our Older Scout High Adventure Program, designed to give older Scouts new challenges and experiences beyond the traditional summer camp program. Be on the lookout for more information as we get closer to summer!

Beaumont Scout Reservation is conveniently located approximately one hour from Cleveland and Youngstown, 45 minutes from Erie, Pennsylvania, and 1½ hours from Pittsburgh & Sandusky, making a great Scouting adventure closer than you might think.

And don't forget to come hungry! Our newly improved dining services are focused on providing quality meals and a great experience for Scouts and leaders. Summer camp units can choose between our traditional Dining Hall experience or Patrol Cooking program.
